When Natalie first applied to the graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Long Island University in New York back in 2005, she knew she had chosen the right profession, one that is both science and relationship- based. Natalie’s clinical experience includes working with children of all ages within private and public schools, outpatient facilities, and university based clinics. Natalie has also been a passionate Early Intervention advocate and provider working with families to address speech-language and feeding delays and disorders. While she finds all communication based disorders clinically fascinating, Natalie specializes in motor speech (e.g. Apraxia as well as other motor planning delays and disorders) and social pragmatic difficulties (e.g. associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder). She is PROMPT Level II trained and is working toward completing her final certification. Natalie relocated from New York City to Orange County in may of 2016 when she married her best friend Alex. She is excited to live and work in southern California but sure loves her occasional trips back east! When not treating, Natalie enjoys practicing yoga and polishing her cooking skills!
